April 27th, Juche 112(2023) Pyongyang

To: Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea

Dear APRCPRK Co-chairs and EXBU Members,
Dear Director of APRCPRK Secretariat and its joint secretaries,
Dear Director of APRCPRK Public Information Bureau and its members,

Upon the news that Enlarged Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (APRCPRK) was held with great success via ZOOM on April 25th in which we marked the 91st founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and congratulations to all the core members of APRCPRK, and express my heartfelt thanks to everyone for demonstrating cohesion, organizational and executive ability of the APRCPRK.

Having said that, I would like to express my special thanks for adopting and presenting the courteous letter of congratulations in the enlarged meeting to Comrade Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the DPRK.

Highly appreciating the favorable situation that the Oceania region has initiated relevant works to celebrate the major occasions of this meaningful year and this is further amplified to the Asia-Pacific region, I remain confident that preparatory committees will be formed in all the countries in the region and start the preparation for two occasions of this year as indicated in the appeal adopted.

At the same time, I express great appreciation for the APRCPRK's efforts to further strengthen the unity with various International Democratic organizations and progressive forces in the region being responsive to the tense situation created on the Korean peninsula as well as making substantial arrangements to express solidarity with the Korean people in their just struggle.

Taking a great delight in that Mr. Len Cooper, chairman of ILPS, and many other figures in the region are joining in the regional efforts to render the supports to the Korean people's just cause with close attention to APRCPRK's activities, I sincerely hope that all the like-minded individuals and organizations in the region would come together more closely to further develop and strengthen the APRCPRK.

Last but not least, I very much look forward to every one's proactive and continued cooperation to make the initiatives of the Asia-Pacific region further spread to the international level.

Best regards,

Pak Kyong Il
Chairman | Korea-Asia Pacific Exchange
